Moved from Madison CT to New Hampshire this past February. What was supposed to be a one day job turned out to be two days. The guys were amazing. They found and meticulously packed the collection from 30 years of life in our treasure by the sea. They went so far above what we had expected that I am still speechless.
The outbound performance was repeated flawlessly in New Hampshire all for a very pleasing price.

Moved out of NYC to CT in one day without a scratch or anything lost or damaged. May 2014; We had an excellent experience using HA Latham for our move. Megan came to our existing home and did a walk through and provided us with a quote and estimate of hours which was pretty spot on. Our movers - Angel, Tony and Adrian were wonderful - they were very careful, neat, professional and a pleasure to work with on what can be a stressful event! They carefully wrapped all of our furniture and were super careful moving us out and in. I would highly recommend this company.

We used H. A. Latham for a fairly complicated move in April 2012. Even though we were moving from the Stamford CT area, we used this family-owned company from Old Saybrook, CT as they had been recommended to us by a local realtor. We were moving household furnishings, including a piano, and boxes (which we packed) south to 4 different addresses between New Jersey and North Carolina. At one address they were picking up a baby grand piano to deliver to another stop. It definitely required some coordination.
Would I use them again? Absolutely! I wouldn't use anyone else.
So, what was important: 1) the office staff is friendly, competent, efficient, follows through, and is clearly skilled in developing quotes; 2) they arrived on time; 3) they were very professional; 4) each mover had years and years of experience, 5) they were very careful moving each item: no dings in walls or furniture; 6) they were courteous; even by the last stop in North Carolina we received reports about how great the movers were!; and 7) the final cost came in within $36 of the estimate, which was based on travel, fuel surcharge and the estimated hours for loading and unloading. That is incredible!
